We're back from the annual NORMI Conference and training events - this year held in Orlando, Florida.  Keeping certifications current, constantly-learning new approaches and staying focused on the industry is a great advantage provided by our association with NORMI.  In addition to the over 90 hours of annual Continuing Education Training we take as part of or Active Membership, this year, we have added a new product offering that will revolutionize the Indoor Air Quality industry. 

We are now trained and certified as Advanced Anabec Applicators.  This certification allows us to provide warranties ranging from 5 to 30 years on mold remediation projects, new home construction (Treat the problem BEFORE it starts!) and our Sanitization projects.  This comprehensive warranty covers not only product replacement, but should any mold growth occur during the warranty period, the owner is covered for ALL COSTS to repair it!

A recent AP Probe found pharmaceuticals and hormones (anabolic steroids!) in the drinking water in major centres across the US and Canada.

Whether a private well, or municipally-supplied and treated (chlorinated) water - this affected all people in all centres.  Check the blog for details!!!!

Our focus on customer service and satisfaction shows!  In October 2007, Douglas Environmental was honoured with a nomination for the Small Business Innovation Award sponsored by the Sherwood Park and District Chamber of Commerce.
